I went out to Martin Falls again today.
The light was FAR better than it was back on June 3rd when I took the pics posted above.
Frankly, those pics from June 3rd sucked...and I knew it.
The mid day light was much too harsh and contrasty.
These look much better to me.
It was mid day, but the light was
flat due to both clouds and smoke.
The water flow was down considerably from June as well.
The lower flow made for better images too ...imo.
These four were taken with my Sony 16-50mm f2.8 zoom lens--maybe my best lens...the best I can afford anyway.
It's very sharp and the focus is very precise. It has an auto focus mode but I prefer to focus manually 99% of the time.
The 3rd and 4th are 3 image panos
I used some new tripod gear for these too. I'll post a video later describing that stuff.
