13 grizzlies at Dupuyer

An article in Great Falls paper about 13 grizzlies in one place near Dupuyer. They think they are all related females and young heading to the mountains for the winter. Interesting read.

Thanks for the link Pete. I read they saw a grizzly at the airport in Valier at some point.Both places look like a tough place for a bear to hide. I guess they are just going back to their original range.

Cool that the grizzly bears are moving back to the plains where they originally evolved.
As an aside....imo...grizzly bears have much better vision than people think.
Most "plains" animals evolved with superior vision. Good vision was a survival necessity for both prey and predator species.
