The photos were fantastic and you're quite a story teller. Next time you need some good tunes to get you through Eastern Montana.....Bob Seger ought to do the trick. long time Kalispell girl

PS, bookends to the trip.

Image

The initial camp set up at Bowman. I left behind the big "over the picnic table" tent and opted for a tiny "tarp." I looked for a site where I could tie a cord between the trees and then I moved the table. I used that dry space pretty extensively.

The famed manhattans (aka hanmattans) and the red flask. Looks like wine but packs a punch. That might be a third drunk photo.

This is popping up on my calendar as one year ago. It's weird, but it seems much longer.

Jen? Todd? Fuzzyside? Kalispellgirl? Bruce?

Yeah, I looked at the calendar today, and I seem to remember being on vacation Sept 4 - 20th. Add a month for a writeup and a trip report probably came out in October.

Hi guys - just saw this post. It is my recollection (hold the laughter please) that we were all perched atop Lincoln Peak on Sept 10, 2015. The next day was the Comeau Pass hike, complete with wolverine. Great trip.

Ah-ha! There is the tarp photo! Is that a Kelty?

(The report deserved a bump). :)

I believe it is a Kelta. I also purchased a torque wrench so I don't continue to overtighten my lug nuts. (At least I think that may have contributed to my problem.)

(Thanks for the bump.)
