Re: Bowman: Yes, it is stunning, but when we were there it was full and there were a LOT of people down at the waterfront/beach...way more than I've ever seen at the lake at Two Med. Definitely not quiet. Just so people aren't expecting a quiet, tranquil experience...it may not be that way.

I think you had a very unusual experience. Two medicine has a parking lot right at the lake, and a boat dock, and tours loading and unloading...

Agreed. In 30 years of visits to Bowman I've never seen anything resembling a crowd there, especially in comparison to the major lakes on the east side of the park.

No. Before I had my own, I rented outside the park and hauled the rental up there.

I don't know anything about these guys, other than the fact that in the past I've sometimes seen some of their equipment in Polebridge, but they might be worth a try:
