FYI about June supermoon

Post by Littlejohn Dsgn »

June 22-23rd the moon will be the closest to earth this year, it will also be a full moon, making it the biggest super moon of the year. I am sure there are some great locations in the park to photograph this. To bad its the weekend before we get there :(

Moon rise is about 9PM on the 22nd and 10pm the 23rd.
Should be good for moonrise over the Livingstons at/just after sunset.
Pray for good weather

Here is a bad picture I took on Jan 2nd, 2009. It was a disposable camera and as you see, nearly dark.
Not a happy moment since I was just back from my Mom's funeral :(
You can get an idea of what a nice pic the moon rising over the Livingstons would be.
