Gorilla Glue for boots?

Post by Selkie »

I must repair a small hole in toe of boot, not a stress point but where cobbler evidently put some sort of holdfast to repair seam stitching. The patch he put on the hole (in toe) came loose in the first encounter with water. Water now accesses the boot via this no-longer-sticking patch. So I need to glue it down firmly.
Any experience, or better suggestion?
Thanks.
