I recently returned from my first trip to Yellowstone and posted som pics. It was enjoyable despite no Park Care pies ( I had to eat frozen!). Hope to see you on a Glacier trail.

Nicely done, Sam. Spectacular color on a couple of the landscapes. I liked your captures of the running bison calves too.

Stunning pictures - how did you get those colors? I am amazed at the variety of animals. Like Lyman, I want to know how long it took you to capture all these different animals. Did you say you were just there?

Sure seems like whenever you visited is the time frame I want to pick for my trip there.

Thanks for sharing.

thanks for the comments....
We were there a week (June 13-21) As the trip was a family reunion, there was not a lot of photo time. We got out early(very) and usually late in the day. The Bison and elk photo ops are effortless as they are everywhere, antelope also. Bear much harder to come by as compared to glacier. Wolf photos took a lot of scouting/intel talking to people and big telephotos.

Thanks for posting these - I really liked the variety of wildlife you captured during the visit. I would have loved the chance to see the wolves, bears, coyote pups, etc. like you did.

Oh my gosh! What AWESOME photos Sam. I'm going to chime in behind Jen.... will you be MY secret santa this year?

Those are some drop dead gorgeous photos and we are in awe! Robert has some questions... what camera and lenses did you use? We've never seen wolves in Yellowstone but have heard them howling. Would absolutely love to see them ... even from a distance.

What a wonderful first trip. :D Thank you so much for posting the link and sharing with us!
