Just wondering, how do you "remove a trail"?

Good question, if they do the same as they have done with some roads around here they will dig and turn earth, then place rocks as well as plant trees in the are that the trail was, time will tell I guess...

On our first trip to Yellowstone, we were working off an outdated map, looking for a designated picnic site for lunch. these were/are few and far between. Several had been closed for ?bear management- you could not tell from the road that they had ever been there. Literally you could not find them. Someone worked very hard to wipe out and revegetate those sites. It did not take long for the wilderness to reassert itself.
