Anyone ever heard of such a thing or know where/how I might find someone with whom to trade? lol

Have reservations for the first few nights of september 2021, but was informed by my wife that our son will be starting preschool in the fall and she is concerned about him missing the first week (or two) of pre-school....so as it happens a few nights in august would work better for our itinerary.

I think this would be hard to find/coordinate.

If you check the Xanterra website several times a day, one night at a time, it's possible you might find rooms as other people cancel. In a typical year, there is a lot of turnover in the reservations there.
