The Sun Road reconstruction is supposedly complete (but we know it is never complete!):

I may be in the minority on this, but I will somewhat miss the road work. It was kind of nice to stop, park and have an opportunity to get out and connect with other travelers who got out of their cars, to enjoy views that you may not have otherwise pulled over to see, and for the scarier parts, it was easier to have one lane all to yourself.
I'm sure there will be more work in no time!
That said, it is nice to drive straight through after a decade(?) of road work.
