Glacier Park ChatI noticed that the Glacier Webcams appear to be smokey the last few days.
Seems like a little early to have this much smoke. What's going on?

Fires in Northern Alberta, believe it or not.
I'm in StMary right now. Smoke is still here but MUCH better than this morning.
Terrible yesterday when I arrived.
The wind came up and shifted to the SW which helped a lot.
We need a nice cool wet front to move through!

Over here on the East side it's really nice.
Strong wind has been blowing all night and continuing now at 0730.
It's cleared out the smoke nicely.

Yup, it was bad Thursday and Friday for me. I was in Many Glacier on Friday and gave up hope on getting any good landscape shots. Good to hear its clearing up a bit...right in time for me to leave.
