There is no stove ban presently. The one I referred to lasted about 2 days in 2003.

hot meals are very nice at the end of the day... but id be in bad shape without my morning coffee!

I guess I'd do for meals what I do for breakfast/lunch

Breakfast is a pro bar (or some other bar)
shorter trips I go with a bagel sandwich for lunch.
probably do a flour tortilla with jerky and hummus for longer treks.

... seriously tho, no coffee. that'd be bad.

I drink coffee all day long(free at work) and into the evening at home. I love my lil coffee espresso machine and grinding my beans.
So I really am odd man out in camp. I rarely drink coffee when backpacking, or tea.
I drink water and occasionally Crystal Lite, or a GatorAid type of drink.
Yeah, I know I'm weird...been that way for the last 60 odd years 8)

Tortillas with tuna from the foil packets. I like the spicy tuna flavored one. Add shelf stable bacon and I am happy with that meal. Maybe some protein shake for breakfast.

Can't ever have too many Snickers and cosmic brownies whether I have a stove or not.

In situations where I have to go without coffee (Noooo), Clif shot mocha packets can substitute, or Jet Alert caffeine tabs (half the strength of NoDoz, easier to titrate the proper dose). They can replace the caffeine but not the morning ecstasy.
