West/East Side Hungry Horse Reservoir Roads Info

Hi All,

Just found this great website about all things Glacier NP. I've been to Glacier NP many times the last 5 years. This year we have plans to do something different and will be traveling out west from Minnesota to do some fishing along the South Fork Flathead River September 7-12. I've read on the Flathead National Forest website that there are many improvement projects going on along both the West and East side roads. I'm concerned that there might not be access to the South Fork because of these projects. I've called the Hungry Horse Ranger Office and they've assured me we should be ok. I was just wondering if any locals had any inside news about this? Can I trust what the Ranger Office is telling or are they just telling me what I want to hear?
