Spots this weekend

Post by kalamitykatie »

Anyone have a suggestion for where I might park & sleep tomorrow night (coming from Missoula) and a real camping spot that is likely to be open Sat. night?

Thanks!

Katie,

Are you looking for east side or west side, west side, I would suggest sprague creek, on the east side, I would try for a spot at Rising sun, both great camp grounds, but it it is going to depend on what time you arrive, in the afternoon at this time of year, you might have a tough time finding a spot...

That last link is a big help. Thanks!

I think I'll just be looking for a place to crash on the west tomorrow night. Normal-normal I wouldn't be keen on camping at Apgar, but it might do for tomorrow IF I should get lucky enough for there to be a spot open. I'll re-check that link tomorrow and maybe have my husband check it for me during the evening.

Rising Sun looks good for Saturday night.
