New book on death and survival in Glacier

Post by llholmes1948 »

Link to article in the Inter Lake (it appears that no one has been killed by an earthquake in Glacier):

I haven't read the book but it appears from this article that the authors have re-classified many of the fatalities in Glacier over the years and have come to the conclusion that falls and not drownings are the leading cause of fatal accidents in Glacier. They appear to have taken many cases where people have fallen into lakes and creeks and drowned and have considered the cause of the accident to be a fall and not a drowning. That is an interesting theory but I am not sure that I agree. Maybe someone can read the book and give us a review.
