Sun Rd open for shuttles during Howe fire

Transportation can be a challenge in Glacier. If you have ideas, offer ride shares, or used a commercial service that you were happy with, let everyone know. Also, ask questions about road information, or share road information you may have.

I got here at 0630 and there were already 60-70 people in line.
It's nuts. They won't begin till 0730 and only what 15 can ride on the smaller shuttle?
#/@& it.
I'm driving around US2.
Raining lightly too 8)

Ha!!
Yeah, this shuttle service not working too well. Just got overwhelmed imo.
Idrove over via US2 and arrived about 5minutes after the FIRST shuttle.
Left Logan pass at 0940. Arrived here at the chalet just now at 1420. Saw bighorn rams and two nice goat billys. Got good video and pics of one billy.
Windy and still hazy but didn't rain.
So life is good.
Gonna check in and chill for a while.

too funny you were only 5 minutes behind them. Glad you are able to get out there. Sounds like smoke isnt too bad in the Park, hope it isnt too bad where you live.

So you had about 100 miles more of driving than you wanted but you were able to hike without rain. Not all was bad.
