Hanging at MOR and ATL

Post by tibber »

My hiking sister is a hanger. I think she would be okay to hang at MOR and ATL out of Cut Bank area. Do you agree?

She should be good at MOR. Can’t say for certain about ATL because I’ve never been there.

Have a great trip!!!

Not much happening at ATL.
Good CG, but no views of anything.
Right on a "babbling brook". Does she read?

If by hanger you mean someone who likes to hang around camp then MOR is probably better. There is an OK waterfall about half a mile from ATL and very nice Medicine Grizzly Lake is a couple of flat miles away.

I think she means that she sleeps in a hammock.

I had no idea that hanging had so many meanings; you guys are so funny. But yes, she likes to hammock and last year when we did the Boulder Pass backpack she didn't bring it and could have. I told her she could probably hang at MOR and ATL but that I'd check with the chatters to see. So it sounds like we're good at MOR but not sure of ATL.

Any of you are welcome to come hang...
out with us if you're in the area.

Thank you,
tibber/Angela

PS We go in on the 26th, weather forecast looks good. :)

Thx Pete.

Now if the forecast would go back to looking good. Two Medicine on the weather channel now shows 60% chance of precip on the 26th, sheesh! I swear it said 0% yesterday. Oh well, I guess it's better than the 116 we're having here next week.

Yeah, for some reason hammocks never occurred to me. ATL has many many trees.
