Excellent! That is a nice intermediate (for hiking) location and close to amenities such as a grocery and the Park Cafe.

A path beside the hiker-biker site in Loop A will take you across a bridge to the Visitors Center. It's about a 5-minute walk (I carry bear spray), as opposed to driving around a longer route. The rangers at the permitting/info desk inside can help suggest backpacking routes.

The campground has a shower block in Loop C.

Have a wonderful time!

I arrived at Two Med Campground at 7:15 on 7/31 and had no problem securing a campsite. As a matter of fact there were plenty of options. (Even though the sign said "Campground Full")
