An Oldie

Post by ND »

Thinking GNP and posting it for the heck of it. Almost 10 years ago July 27, 2009. Low clouds lingering over St. Mary Lake.

Sorry I missed this ND. The pic is a beauty! Love Glacier in its many moods, the low hanging clouds being a feature that takes me right back there.
Great idea for a thread.
Hope others get the urge to throw out some of their old favs.
Thanks for posting!

Nice one Ken.
I too like pics with a low cloud layer like that. Makes it a "mood" kind of image.
How do you like your new camera?
Get some flower shots yet?

Not so long ago. Iceberg Lake nearly frozen over on July 17, 2011. Coming down on Shangri La. Todd in the lead.

That's a nice yellow-orange. Kind of like a dumpster fire. :D :D it has a look like film, which makes it more impressive on a few levels.

Old image from my favorite area of the park, July 28, 2006. In a time where one didn't have to worry about getting here early for a parking spot. :( I long for those days of the past.

Another really nice image ND. I too really miss the days of simply driving to the park and getting in a campground. I'm not sure what the hell happened, but it's hard not to be driven away by the crowds.
