Here are my in trip edits from the trip...well this is only one day of photos so far, but:

If you have questions, ask... I published the camera information with each image, but I have not added full keywords yet.
All processing has been done in Photoshop Lightroom 4.2 on my 17" MacBook Pro.

Happy shooting
Jen

Beautiful photos, and interesting context. The bear's respiration seemed to be the subtle focal point of the transport video.
Is this the same research station (Hudson Bay?) of your earlier narrative and photo gallery?

Thanks all, it has been a great trip, and I have another week or so left.

Today was less than stellar, but it ended with a bang:

There's some really nice stuff in there. I like one of the bears playing where one of the bears looks like he's got some Kung Fu going on....with some snow flying to show the movement. Really nice.

How about a little commentary on the transport. There's a hint of what's going on with the building in the background. Even with snow, it doesn't look that cold since the guys weren't dressed too warm.

Thanks again all, it has been a darn good trip to this point, and I have another four days left.

I would say the sunrise this morning was good, but that might be an understatement:

p.s. The trip started off around 25 degrees, but has worked its way down to around zero for highs the last two days. The "Resource" folks lock up problem bears until the ice comes, but when the holding facility fills up they have to fly bears out...and that is what I photographed on the first day. The Resource folks were outside for just a few minutes, as much of what they do is done indoors, the crowd that gathered for the show was bundle up :)

Thanks again all, it has been a darn good trip, and today is my last day.

Two nights ago I got clear sky and Northern Lights:
