Wandering Gringo Cafe

Post by cdsmith379 »

I was reminiscing about my trip this past summer and wanted to give a shout out to the Wandering Gringo Cafe. It is right on Route 2, just before the park entrance in West Glacier, on the left if you are heading east. You can miss if if you are not paying attention. It doesn't look like much as it is a walk-up trailer but don't be fooled, seriously good food there. The burrito I had was enormous and could be measured in pounds, was fresh and tasty, and inexpensive. Just the meal for after a hike. What a gem, I am smiling thinking about it.

Thanks for the heads-up!

I find it can be challenging to get a substantial meal that is also vegetarian in a meat-centric place like Montana. I'm definitely going to check this out if I'm on the West Side next year.

To give folks a bit more of an idea of what the Wandering Gringo is like, here are some links I found. And the Trip Advisor posting shows their actual address too.
