Two wolves from Junction Butte pack in Lamar Valley of Yellowstone National Park. A yearling bison had been hit by a car the night before and the rangers pulled it out next to the river about 300 yards from the road. A grizzly named "Scarface" was on it while we were watching these two wolves cross over a ridge and work their way down Lamar Valley. We drove down to where the carcass was and got a spot straight across from it. One wolf was too nervous of the crowds to cross the river. Video taken with my point and shoot on a tripod- there are a couple of times where the wolf is out of view before I adjusted the tripod. Click on HD for a better video.

Four wolves from the Lamar Canyon Pack. The 3 black wolves had crossed the road and river but the last one (grey alpha male) was hesitant to cross the road. We took this video as he finished crossing the river with my point and shoot hand held. As you will see at the end he is pretty far out. The second video shows when they met up. It was a really cool experience to watch. Click on HD for a better video.
