2018 trip wildlife

Post by southernguy »

Here is a recap of the wildlife we saw and a few other things. By the way the last picture is not from the Cattle Baron. It is from Famous Dave's BBQ in Kalispell. We are always real hungry when we leave the park

yep, quite the amount of wildlife. Loved the little lamb or kid or whatever you call the sheep's young 'uns. And that squirrel with his tongue sticking out was way funny.

Thanks for sharing!

The squirrel tongue was a hoot. And I loved the inquisitive look on the lamb/kid's face as it checked you out.

I'm curious: although only one had a "box" around it to highlight it, it looked to me like there were two grizzes (one light one looking at the camera and one darker to the right with its head down) in the rocky shot towards the beginning...is that right? Or am I being mislead by a "bear rock" and some wishful thinking? Where was that shot taken?

There was a momma and cub. My grandson took the pic with his phone so we didn't get the best pic. Looking at the pic again I think that is the cub and the dark area is the mom. We were almost to Siyeh pass when they passed above us.
