Thanks Jen. One thing I didn't mention was that Todd and I spotted griz down by hidden lake. We were closely looking at him/her, and he/she was closely looking at us. At the time I had no fear, just curiosity, but later I thought that we were pretty much pinned against the lake and about level (in elevation) with the bear. Todd, what'd ya think, 150 ft or so. The bear had no interest in approaching us, but they're a powerful animal, so it's an intimidating meeting.

Time to glue some boards.

Kind of a strange technique.

Yes, I'd say that Grizzly down by Hidden Lake was about 40 or 50 yards away...definitely close enough to get your attention...

Thanks, I wake up pretty damn sore, but it goes away. The opposite gable end still needs to be done (waiting on materials), as well as electrical and insulation, and finally the small tidbits. With a flashlight, I can see the tunnel.

You're near the end. Electrical is easy. Insulation sucks during the summer if you are doing fiberglass.

Your garage is nicer than my house. :)

I didn't know a garage could look so good.

Thanks. Julie has requested a "sleep over" out there, but I wouldn't want to live out there. Here's a mock up of the interior:

This trip was 8 years ago. I get reminded up if every year since our grand daughter was born about the time I left.

I’ll take the next hour and re-read the report. BTW, what ever happened to trip reports?
