Boy, the bear grass this year. So, a nice assortment of hikes this year. Hidden Lake, Siyeh, Dawson, Grinnell, the Lookout. (I read this in stages, so I think I got that right.) I agree with you about the rocks on the Grinnell Glacier hike. I've tried to photograph those, but they seem elusive for a good shot. You also got lucky on the moose front. Lots of sightings. It sounds like you didn't see a lookout at the lookout. I wonder if Buck is long gone.

There was someone manning the lookout (Swiftcurrent) - possibly a woman with some guests that day, but I didn’t know to ask about Buck.
