Thanks Meg and Sean.:)
I went out yesterday hoping for a good sunset but it turned out kind of "blah"....as sunsets go.
There just wasn't any color.

The forecast is pretty good for the weekend. Maybe I can get something better.

It looks like ticketed entry will be happening this summer. Also looks like a ton of road construction in the area.

Great news. I know this is not popular opinion (and I may change my tune when I'm trying to get to Sweet Peaks for some after dinner ice cream - PRONTO), but the roadwork delays help me stop and enjoy my surroundings.

Bring on the ticketed entry!
I'll be arriving at the West or East gate well before 0600 so there won't be much to see other than the beautiful dawn light and the animals.

It is now official.

https://montanafreepress.org/2021/03/17 ... h-glacier/

The park website

https://www.nps.gov/glac/planyourvisit/statusupdate.htm

says that it is now legal to enter the park through the Two Medicine, Cut Bank and St. Mary entrances. Of course the roads are closed and snow covered but you can ski or snowshoe if you want to.

Awesome news about the East side, I really missed it last year. Not that I'm sick of the West side of the park... :)

I'll make my first trip around Memorial day again, probably won't be able to spend a significant amount of time in East / Many until September though.
