So true! What an enthusiastic supporter of Glacier he was and his influence certainly lives on!

Indeed it does.
And I'm sure his view of Iceberg Lake is far better now than it was this day. :)

Never met him, but added another stone to the swiftcurrent pass cairn in his memory this year.

When I was new to GNP Hockey Ref was a great help to me I couldnt wait to do the Hockey Ref Hike the first time. It remains one of my favorites. When I put my rock on the Cain this year It was with my Grandson and I got to share my Hockey Ref story with him and pass on how one person can make a diference in many lives.
