Such a nice "remembrance portrait" of you and Clyde!
I enjoy your photos for many reasons. You take them at every season, I normally see the Park only in the summer, and your photos are GOOD ones.
Thanks again, you are appreciated!
Yeah, I prefer it like it was last Saturday with ZERO people. Last summer it was like Disneyland, including the cheap souvenirs. I just can't wait till they pave the North Fork road all the way to Polebridge, put in Putt-Putt golf and a wind powered cell tower with free WiFi. 8) I prefer it that way...
Glad the cataract surgery went well! I had same surgery done about a year ago. Wonderful improvement in vision! I noticed how vivid colors looked after the surgery. Your left eye should go just as well.
Incredible cold you are having out there. But it is February after all.....
Beautiful pano with the pink! Also have to mention you made an excellent dinner! No dehydrated stuff for you. I like the hot chocolate idea....just the thing on a cold evening.
Because you live in the area you know about many of the good hiking places that are not in GNP. We are taking our chances and have made our reservations on the east side of the park. Fingers crossed we will be able to stay there. The mobs of people are unfortunate and may continue this year if this ...
Very nice Pete! I particularly like the pan at Lake Macdonald. Nice reflection off the lake.
Lone Pine is a great option for photos when you don't have time to get to the Park.
I like the way you pointed out what you are seeing from there.
You have really posted some beautiful photos! My favorites are the one from Piegan and the one of Hidden Lake from Dragons Tail. I would give wall space to either one of those. I really enjoy seeing what you are photographing!
