Pete, When Cypress Gardens was still open we went on my dad's boat over to the ski shows. It was one lake over thru the canal. We anchored out in the lake and watched the show. Haven't been since it turned into Lego Land!

Pete, enjoyed this post. My parents winter home is on Lake Winterset so I know exactly where your picture was taken.

Saw it today. A little disappointed that some of the parks didn't get a little more exposure, but overall pretty enjoyable. Great scenery and beautiful story about Pictured Rocks.

And Pete, your estimate of the trail being about a mile up the old road is about right. I can't really remember, but we hiked a short ways, ten to fifteen minutes and the trail goes off to the right.
