It appears from the Park's trail status page that Numa Lookout trail is now open.

This morning the Park Service trail status website is showing Numa Ridge Lookout as being closed due to fire activity.

The Flathead Beacon reports that the Numa Lookout trail is closed due to a fire. The Park's trail status page does not confirm this. Maybe it was closed and later reopened. Or maybe the Park's trail status page is not as current as the Park would like us to think. Any thoughts on this? https://flath...

My daughter was in and around Glacier July 9 to 17. Most of their days were perfectly clear with great visibility as I understand it except for July 13 which was very smokey and obscured the views.

I am assuming that the deer must be after the salt left by sweat on the hiking pole handles. Would that be correct? I wonder if putting some insect repellant on the handles would discourage thefts by deer.

If I understand correctly the Two Medicine Grill is the only restaurant in East Glacier that is open all year round. (At least they were for years and I assume that they still are). They serve a good burger.

For those who have a chance to visit the Park this year, I think Chat fans would certainly appreciate some updated reviews on restaurants - good, bad or indifferent. Are there any new restaurants on the east or west sides? Have some restaurants closed or changed hands? Chatters would love to know. T...

I see on the status trail map that the Rimrock Handline was installed 6/15, hoping that's a good sign it will open soon. Anyone have any insight as to if that was a good indicator of opening in previous years? I would say that that is definitely a good sign but it probably also depends on the snow ...
