I thought it was a problem bringing it from the US to Canada because we were flagged but able to sign a form and pick it up later when we went back to the US. Earlier this year, it was a juvenile bear that was doing "property damage." (My term.) The bear was coming in and destroying tents. They put up some "decoy" tent and cameras, but no more destruction.

Yeah, I bought one for a trip in Wyoming, and when the rubber met the road, I couldn't fit everything in the pack, not even close, so I skipped the trip (and car camped) and returned the canister when I got home. I've even glad it's not taking up space in the basement.
