Glacier National Park Chat

OK, here's one of us. We're about as far from Glacier as you can get. This was taken at a temple in Myanmar (Burma) on a trip we took recently.

Yikes! And you live in Kalispell. You just don't know how lucky you are to live so close to all that beauty! Get out and enjoy it.

I just checked on the site "Yahoo Travel" and have found that Enterprise will rent a car (I didn't know what 2 weeks in July you're traveling so I just chose July 11-25). The total rental for 2 weeks for a full sized car is $545. And this includes 2100 free miles for the 2 week period. Thi...

Thanks, jen! I only wish we could be out there to enjoy the Park in the winter with him and his wife. South Carolina just doesn't have any place that measures up to Lake MacDonald in the winter (or actually at any time of the year). Can hardly wait for our next opportunity to visit out there.

I got "Seasonal Disorder" too! Also "Wildflowers of Glacier National Park" which lists flowers by colors & also includes trees.

Now I've just got to think about when I can get back to GNP. Looks like it may not be until 2009 but I'm hoping for sooner than that.
