Re: Current weather?

It was a wild day, Deb spent much of the time early Saturday saying "Another one bites the dust" I know of 4 large trees that went down just outside the living room.

Very tense day to say the least.

Re: Advice on Bear Pepper Spray

On Counter Assault cans, look at the date heat stamped into the can. That is the expiration date, but that does not mean you need to throw it away, it will still spray, perhaps a shorter distance, but it will still work. Although I have not worked with Counter Assault for a few years now, I still ca...

Re: Bad Visitor Behavior at GNP

I have been picking up other peoples garbage for most of my life now, hiking, hiking, hunting fishing, I am always picking stuff up and taking it back so I can properly throw it away. When I visit Yellowstone, Glacier, Olympic, Mt. Rainer and a host of National forests, it is what I do, I clean thin...

Getting that warning has a lot to do with how you have your anti virus and your browser set up and how you actually access the internet, I was just able to access that website with no problems at all.

Thank you.

Re: Lake McDonald freezes over

Woke to about an inch this morning, but it was cold, pretty much thawed out by about noon and starting to clear up some. Not to bad at all, pretty normal for spring at our place.

Re: Current weather?

I saw that they closed Big Mountain yesterday too. Looks brutally cold, even for the west side. It has been real cold for a few days now, has started warming today, up to about 15 right now, but snow expected the next few days, for as light as things were in Nov, Dec and Jan, it is making up for it...

And people think they can "multitask" dispite all the studies that show people can't perform well when their attention is diverted. IN fact, people make poor decisions. It's scary. Jay Yup, just happened today Jay, guy talking on his cell phone got hit and killed by a train in his car in ...

Re: Current weather?

Honestly, it has not been bad here this year so far, only have about 4 inches on the ground and it has been warm the last couple of days, so melting quickly, last year I had over a 4 and had been stuck twice trying to plow, so I am not complaining, it will indeed be interesting to see what the rest ...
