Just look at the Waterton fire... there were a ton of resources set to fight the blaze and the dang thing exploded in area by 80,000 acres in one night! They managed thus far to save the village but still lost a number of park buildings/facilities including the visitor centre and horse stables... Wh...

Hopefully today's precip slows things down... the fire has the potential to run south into Glacier if it jumps the ridge at Cameron lake (it's just north of chapman and Custer right now... or could run down towards kintla Lake too).
